Dakoda ~Bella~ Joshua
* * * Bella is a Maltese puppy * * *
We got her today as an early surprise birthday present for Dennis. We drove to Irmo to get her and made it home just in time before Dennis arrived home from his baseball game. Karen, the nice breeder we bought her from was sad to see Bella go but we reassured her that she would be loved and well taken care of. She introduced us to the other dogs, gave us some things for Bella, lovingly kissed her good-bye and finally we were on our way home with our new puppy. :)
Day #1 has been great! We gave Bella a bath, some food, and then took her outside to go swimming. She was hesitant around the pool at first, but then in no time was swimming laps with the rest of us. She is so cute! She ran around the back yard ... checking everything out and marking her new territory. She responded right away to our calls and already knows how to sit.
She is a good puppy. The kids LOVE her, and I can tell she will fit nicely into our family. 
Z Z Z ... She is sleeping now after a very busy day. She picked Joshua's bed for her first nap.

What a CUTIE!!! She looks real happy and will be a nice addition to the family. It will be fun taking care of her. She has pretty long hair. Daisy and Zoey will like her :)
