Myrtle Beach ~

Joshua and Dakoda were so excited about going to Myrtle beach ... "are we there yet" echoed many times from the back seat on the way down.

The sea shells were so pretty!
The weather was perfect this time of year and the beach wasn't too crowded.

Joshua and Dakoda - working on their sand castle creation. It was funny to watch them run back and forthe from the ocean to their volcano ... the water kept disappearing! Joshua said "hey, this is ridiculous". Dakoda devilishly smashed his hard work with one quick swift kick of his little foot.

Dakoda got stung by a JELLY FISH while swimming in the ocean on day #2 ... he cried some as he came out of the water and said "I think I broke my leg", but was very brave as I quickly took him up to the bathroom. It felt like we were in an episode of "Friends" - but hey, what else could we do? :) We had to fix his pain. You little guys are so much fun to be with!!! :)

We took the kids to "Myrtle Waves" while at the beach this time. We've never been before. We all had a blast in the wave pool and the boys had fun on the water slides. There was an awesome thunderstorm one night. I captured several photos of the lightening. Dakoda ... bedtime - after a long day which included "Magic Quest" where he and Joshua got to use their wands jus like Harry Potter to work their way thru a fabulous adventure. They loved it!
