Like always ... Dakoda isn't looking at the camera when Uncle David took the picture. He is so silly! He keeps us smiling, that's for sure.
Today is our ONE YEAR Anniversary of adopting Dakoda! :) This year has been so amazing. Dakoda has been a huge blessing to all of us and we are honored to be his parents. One year already ... so much has changed. (Dakoda, pictured above ... swimming on October 12th ... us, loving this SC weather!)
Dakoda is such an amazing little guy. He makes us smile so often and adds such joy to our lives. We couldn't imagine life without him.
To celebrate our 1 year anniversary we went to the fair yesterday, and then today went to church and then out to lunch with Uncle Deeee and friends who are in town from Myrtle Beach. We all went to the park to play for a while after church and then the kids went swimming. The water temp is about 80 degrees. The kids don't seem to mind too much. Halilia is 6, and having a blast with Joshua and Dakoda.
The fair was great this year! David and I rode a scary ride together ... it slowly tipped us upside down and just let us hang there. Adrianne loved all the rides. She and I rode the one that whips you around in a circle faster and faster. She was on the outside, so I ended up smooshing her. Sorry girlfriend! LOL .... The kids wanted to ride everything, even if they were not tall enough to do so. :)
The kids rode several rides and played too many games to keep count. The all ended up going home with a prize. I tried "fried chocolate chip cookie dough" .... YUMMY! They also had fried pepsi and snickers bars and other crazy foods this year. It was so much fun. :)
