Joshua's tonsilectomy and adenoidectomy was this week. Mom came down to be here for him and to help us with Dakoda during his recovery. It was a hard time ... but he was a little trooper! He was in a lot of pain when he woke up (to be expected) and it was terrible seeing him like that, but at least he is alright. It's NEVER easy seeing your child go thru a surgery and this was just another reminder of how lucky we are to have Joshua, to be his parents. I thank God he recovered as quickly and smoothly as he did. 
Here he is, recovering at home ... eating some ice cream. Thanks Mom for all of your help, love and support. Thanks for taking "night duty" that one night / and for allowing Dennis and I to sleep thru the night because of doing so. We truly appreciate your unconditional love and kindness. Joshua was really glad that you came down to visit and happy you were here during his surgery. We love you!
