Dakoda: Great news! Dakoda woke up this morning with a ...... drum roll please .... DRY PULL-UP. He is completely potty trained during the day, but still needs to wear a pull-up to bed at night. He has been determined to NOT wear it though, and told us last night " I can do it Mommy and Daddy. " We told him we knew that he could do it, and he did! Yea Dakoda!!! We are very proud of him. Also, this week he informed us that he has a girlfriend now. He attends pre-school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and has found a little girl in his class that he now calls his "girlfriend". Last night before bed, our bedtime talk was about two things (normally just about one thing - Halloween), Emma and Halloween. He wants to know when she can come over and swim with him "on a play date" and what we were all going to dress up as for Halloween. He is sleeping thru the night now, without getting up. He stays in his own room like a big boy. Good job Little D!!! :) We love you!
Joshua: We are so proud of our boy. Last week we had a conference with his 2nd grade teacher and she said he is doing "outstanding". He is reading above his grade level and doing very well in every other subject. He wants to play basketball this school year, so we are looking forward to that. He too, has a girl that he likes this year. Her name is Hannah. Both boys have little girlfriends with blonde hair and blue eyes. This week, we received a call from Joshua's art teacher. She said she was calling to tell us what a pleasure it is to have him in her class and when he is there, it is always a "good day" for her. We couldn't be happier with his 2nd grade progress so far. He has been happy, and healthy, and such a wonderful big brother to Dakoda. We love you Joshua! :)
