Our pool is clean, and ready for swimming ... now we just need the water to heat up. Can't wait! This is our poolside garden. It has been a work in progress since 2004 and seems to be prettier each Spring. I just LOVE when all the colors emerge after those long winter months. Ok, I know .... SC doesn't have "real" winters but even still / it's nice to be able to stop and smell the flowers in the Spring (my favorite time of year). ~ Kris ~
Joshua LOVES taking photos! It is very important to him that his photos turn out nice. He took this one of me after working hard in the yard the other day (March 2007). The weeds have tried to take over, but we got them! This is my new palm plant that we planted. $13 at walmart! Great price for a plant this large. It really fits nicely into the pool side garden this year. It's always a work in progress ... but very rewarding in the end.
With some inspiration from family and close friends (thank you) ... we finally did it! Here is Joshua next to our new strawberry patch that we planted the other day. We plan on adding some more and trying to grow some other fruits and veggies too. As for the strawberries, we plan to EAT them when they grow (ha ha Amber). We can't wait! YUMMY! :)~
Joshua and I recently planted some new flowers in our garden. The pool needed some purple flowers, so we added those this year too. He is a great little garden helper! Thanks pumpkin ... You're a great son. I love you!!!
