We took a trip to West VA this summer to visit Nanny & Paps, Uncle Mark & Auntie Zlatka, MeMe & Pappy, all the farm animals, pups, and Auntie Carol (from Pittsburgh). It was a super 8 hour drive up there ... and we all had a blast!
The kids played on the slip and slide, rode the tractor, ran around, collected eggs, and helped with other chores on the farm. They LOVE it there! Zoey and Daisy are great "watch dogs" at the farm. They hear every noise, and always investigate right away. Bella enjoyed meeting her cousins.
It's really beautiful up at the farm. The air is clean and fresh, and the scenary a gift from God. Mom, Auntie Carol, and I picked berries with Joshua one morning. It was relaxing.
At the farmers market on Saturday, Joshua made a new friend. Her name is Gannie. Mom and Steve are friends of her family. She and Joshua hit it off right away and have been talking via e-mail and regular mail since our trip up there. It's cute that they keep in touch so much. Joshua said he can't wait to see her again.
