This year Joshua wanted to be the mean Spiderman, and Dakoda wanted to be Iron Man. Bella decided to go as a Puppy cheerleader. She loves her costume ... she hardly ever tries to bite it off. Ha, Ha, Ha. :) She got extra puppy treats in the mail this year from Nanny and Paps for Halloween. The boys received very nice Halloween cards and treats from their Grama and Grampa in Illinois. That was really sweet of them.
We are going trick-or-treating up at the mall this year. All of the stores give out candy. The kids are dressed, and ready to go ... it's 4:00pm! :) It's a perfect night to go out. The weather is beautiful (a bit too warm right now, but it will cool down later).
Dennis and I are Jamaican Hippies. As you can see, Dennis plays the part quite well.. . .
Later that night
. . .
We met up with my good friend, Karen (Nugget's Momma) and had dinner before we all went trick-or-treating. The kids were itching to go before dinner even started, but knew they had to eat first. Miss Cassey gave them a mini box of chocolates as their 1st candy of the night. Karen is in costume too ... but that's a joke between she and I that I'll leave off the blog post. :)
Here is precious little Travis, Karen's Grandson ... He was a monkey for Halloween. Sooooo cute!!!
The kids had so much fun!
As soon as we got home, the kids dumped out all of their candy on the floor. Dakoda gave the night a big "thumbs up" (pictured above), and Joshua quickly started bargaining with Dakoda for the candy that he wanted to trade. It was a fun night.

Yea, I was happy Karen accepted my invitation to join us. She is a good friend, and we always have so much fun together. She cracks me up, that's for sure.
