~ October 12, 2007 = our adoption day ~
IT WILL SOON BE "OFFICIAL" . . . . . . . . . . On October 12th at 12:00 PM we will go to court to adopt Dakoda! We are beyond happy, we can't stop smiling! To think, we get to KEEP this precious little boy. Yea!!! Yippee!!! : ) How lucky are we? How blessed we have been. We have so much to be grateful for.
Again, thanks to all of our friends and family who have supported us in this decision. Thank you to Detra, at DSS for choosing us for Dakoda and for working so hard on this case. We truly appreciate all of you.

Thanks MOM! You and Steve, Grama and Pap have all been so supportive throughout this entire process and it means the world to us. We've had some "nay sayers" to our life decision to want to adopt, and although we don't understand their lack of support ... it isn't going to bring us down. Those who truly care about us will accept our decision and understand why we are doing this. We love Dakoda with all our hearts and we feel the same way about Joshua. Both our boys are so special to us. So .... we appreciate those who are being kind, loving, and supportive. Thanks! We love you. :)
